Hello Howard Robertson Families,
We are excited to announce that this Monday: June 20, 2022, we are partnering with Nutrition For Learning and Moore’s Berry Farm of Ayr, ON. to bring a Strawberry Day experience to Howard Robertson students.
Each student will get to experience tasting Fresh Ontario Strawberries and each student will be gifted with a pint of strawberries to bring home.
June and July are strawberry season in Ontario, fresh local strawberries give students an opportunity to have a farm to table experience. In classrooms, students will learn how strawberries grow, are harvested and eaten.
When your student(s) arrive home Monday with their strawberries, please refrigerate and enjoy within the next few days. This provides families with an opportunity to enjoy fresh Ontario produce together. Make sure to ask your students some strawberry facts.
